Faculty offer consultations in three areas:

Research Ethics

Questions should first be addressed to the appropriate WUSTL oversight or compliance office. All requests for this service are routed through the Regulatory Support Core (RSC), which identifies appropriate resources within WUSTL. The RSC may refer the request to CCRE faculty for an educational / advisory consultation.

We consult with training grant program directors to assist them in developing, identifying, or describing training in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) or Clinical Research Ethics (CRE). Ongoing collaboration with CCRE faculty on funded training programs should be budgeted into grant applications.

Research Design

We consult on the design of research on ethical issues in human subjects research, research integrity, and ELSI in genetics. An initial consultation is funded by the CTSA. Ongoing
collaboration with Center for Clinical & Research Ethics faculty on funded research projects should be budgeted into grant applications.
